Events

The challenge started at 6am on Thursday 31st March and would see friend of the couple, Jamie complete a 4 mile run (6.5km) every 4 hours for 48hrs straight. On many of the efforts Jamie was joined by friends & supporters of the cause.

A community event was organised at the Finley Recreation Reserve with the help of friend and co-worker Heidi McGrath. This event lined up with one of Jamie's 4 mile efforts & saw local kids and families play games & participate in part of the run.

The original 'Effort 4 Esme - 4x4x48' fundraiser totalled 13 runs, 84.5km & raised just over $8000.

With a colour fun run to start off our day before we head into the Leg It 4 Letty races.

Don't forget all the activities we will have to keep you all busy, Face painting, Jump castles, live music, Entertainment, Food and drink and much more.

Our 2nd major event was held on the 7th of October 2023. We had a great day filled with lots of fun for the whole family.

Embarking on a once in a lifetime journey. This cycling event covered over 900kms on our way to our final destination in Adelaide SA, to test our commitment to our charity. Meticulous planning had paved the way for this challenging endeavor, with the purpose of raising funds and to give people a 'fighting chance' to those in need of it most. We departed on the 20th of Jan, we pedaled with determination, not just covering distance but making each kilometer count for a cause close to our hearts.  We made it, there may have been some bumps in the road, but we did it. Thanks to everyone that got behind us and helped out, donated or even sponsored us, we raised some much-needed funds to be put back into our community, where it's needed most. This isn't the last of us yet, we're only just beginning.......
